| Pastor:
Dr. Harry Boyd, Jr. began his service with First Baptist Church, Winnsboro,
La. in March of 1994. He is a native of Monroe, La. and his Master
of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry Degrees are from New Orleans Baptist
Theological Seminary. For fourteen years Dr. Boyd has served churches
throughout Louisiana. He is the proud husband of Tami, and father
of Sara, age 12. When Dr. Boyd finds a few moments of free time,
he enjoys writing, classical music, golf,
computers and flyfishing.

| Minister
with Students: Steve Bryan came to our staff as minister
with students in March of 1996. Leaving a career in contract
food service management, Steve felt the call to lead and minister to
our students and their families. Priding himself a true "Texan",
Steve grew up in Garland, Texas, as the adopted son of a Southern Baptist
pastor. A graduate of East Texas Baptist College in Marshall,
TX., Steve is unmarried and is the proud "uncle" of six nieces
and nephews.

| Music Director: Carolyn Thomas agreed to "fill in" for a month as music director in 1986, and has been a vital part of our staff ever since. She and her husband Jerry, one of our deacons, have been married 30 years. Carolyn is the mother of two sons, Jarrod and Johnathan, and proud grandmother of Kaitlyn Rose. For twenty six years Carolyn has taught Family and Consumer Sciences at Winnsboro High School. | |
